Week of 9/2 - 9/6 2024

This week I began work on my plinko board. I researched some ideas to create it and I started work on the first sketch. I had some trouble with the parameters but I figured them out eventually and I created a design that I am happy with. I laser cut the first model and it came out good but I still needed some wooden dowels to make the pegs. I went to carpentry to get one but they didn't have the size I needed (1/4 inch) so now I have to make a new model. Once I have that completed I plan to design some ways to automate it and move the balls back up to the top at the end. I am thinking of using an Archimedes screw since that would be most efficient and sturdy.
