This week, I started by finishing my design of my box. I made sure to take correct measurements and used the drawing of my PCB on Fusion in order to get the correct parameters. I then used these to make my PCB box. I also made sure to include fillets so there would be no hard points.

Then I started my box printing, and it was going to take the whole class, so I decided to try the fusion certification while I wanted. I completed the pretest and started on some of the beginning lessons.

I got pretty far in the lessons because a lot of it was review, and I already knew it. Once my print was done, though, I was flamed by my shop teacher because he has soft hands, but otherwise the print came out well because the Bambu printer is really nice. I tested it very shortly at the end of class, and everything seemed in order.

Testing it later, however, I realized that the screwholes were fine for the width of the box; however, the height of them was slightly off. I realized this was because the holes had snapped onto the construction lines for the box rather than being measured with real values.

I spent the rest of the day remaking the sketch, and I fixed the measurement issue I was dealing with. I finished the box and am ready to print it but the printer was being used so I decided to instead look for some projects that I can do next and print the box tommorow.
