This week I began by creating a model in CAD of the PVC pipe to motor connector and I was happy with its design. I made holes at the side to screw it onto the pipe and a hole at the top so that the motor would stay still when spinning.
I printed this out using the Neptune 3 Pro, and it came out well, which was nice since I had struggled with 3D printers in the past. I've had success using a raft, and I think I'll continue to use them in the future. The hole I made to stop the motor from moving was not working, though, so my teacher suggested I use brackets to keep it in place, I will probably make those this Friday. Otherwise, though the screw is working great and it's almost done. Next week ill work on actually attaching it to the board so it will work automatically.
